The HW205 is a compact VCO (Voltage-Controlled Oscillator) signal generator module available in 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz frequency versions. It supports external voltage-controlled tuning, onboard potentiometer adjustment, and sweep-frequency operation, making it suitable for RF development, electronics testing, laboratory experiments, and signal-generation applications.

Interface Description

P1 – Power Input

• VDD: Positive power supply

P2 – VCO Tuning Input

• VT_IN: External tuning-voltage input, 0–9V
• GND: Ground

P3 – RF Output

• RF signal output via RP-SMA connector

JP1 – Tuning Mode Selection

The JP1 jumper selects the VCO tuning source:

• Position 1: VT_IN – external tuning voltage
• Position 2: RV1_IN – onboard potentiometer adjustment
• Position 3: Sweep_IN – sweep-frequency mode

RV1 – Manual Frequency Adjustment

The onboard potentiometer provides manual VCO tuning when the appropriate JP1 position is selected.
