Product Overview

The LHC1000 is a 915nm infrared laser system with a supplier-specified rated optical output of 1000W. This complete kit includes a dedicated external rechargeable battery, focusing lens, optical scope, wireless remote controller, battery charger and protective carrying case.

The unit features manual focus adjustment, a voltage display, digital temperature monitoring, an analog thermometer and thermal protection.

Specifications

Battery & Charging

The standard kit operates using the included external rechargeable battery. A connection cable and battery belt are supplied.

The included charger accepts 100–240V AC input. Select the required US or EU plug when ordering.

A separate adjustable AC-to-DC power supply is not included in the standard package.

Operating Limits

This system is intended for intermittent operation. The supplier recommends individual output periods of no more than 10 seconds, with cooling intervals between uses. Follow the manufacturer’s cooling instructions.

Thermal protection is a backup safeguard. Do not use automatic thermal shutdown as the normal stopping point during operation.

The supplier estimates approximately 30–60 minutes of usage-dependent battery runtime. This is not a continuous laser-output rating. Actual runtime varies with output duration, cooling intervals, settings and battery condition.

Performance depends on the material, surface characteristics, focus, working distance and operating conditions. No specific ignition distance is guaranteed.

The 915nm working beam is invisible to the human eye. Direct, reflected and scattered radiation can cause permanent eye injury, skin burns and fire.

• For trained adult operators only. Keep away from children and unauthorized users.

• Never look into the laser aperture or expose eyes or skin to the beam.

• Use laser protective eyewear rated for 915nm, with protection selected through a qualified laser hazard assessment. Ordinary sunglasses are unsuitable.

• Operate only in a controlled area with suitable beam containment, restricted access and a fire-resistant beam stop.

• Never direct the laser toward people, animals, vehicles or aircraft.

• Keep reflective objects and unintended combustible materials out of the beam path.

• Do not view the beam or LHC1000 target through the supplied scope unless a qualified laser safety assessment confirms that the viewing arrangement is safe.

• Disconnect power before servicing, changing electrical connections or storing the equipment.

• Follow the manufacturer’s operating instructions and applicable local requirements.

Protective eyewear and thermal protection do not eliminate the hazards of an exposed high-power laser beam.
