This compact infrared detection card converts invisible near-infrared laser radiation into visible light, making it easier to locate, align, and inspect IR laser beams.

Designed for near-infrared laser applications including 1064nm YAG lasers, fiber lasers, IR laser diodes, and other compatible 900–1300nm sources.

How to Use

Position the white active detection area in the path of the infrared beam. When exposed to a compatible IR wavelength and sufficient optical power, the detection area produces visible light to help locate and align the otherwise invisible beam.

Important

Start with low laser power and increase gradually as necessary. Excessive power or a tightly focused high-power beam may damage the detection surface. This card is a beam detection/alignment aid and does not replace appropriate laser safety eyewear or other laser safety equipment.
