The Lilly Electronics 980nm 150mW Infrared Laser Pointer is a compact handheld near-infrared laser designed for optical testing, IR detection, alignment, laboratory experiments, and other technical applications requiring a 980nm infrared source.

Operating at a wavelength of 980nm with 150mW optical output, the emitted light is outside the main visible spectrum and may appear extremely faint or effectively invisible to the naked eye. The output can be more readily observed using compatible infrared-sensitive cameras, sensors, viewers, or detection equipment.

The laser features an adjustable-focus optical system, allowing the output spot to be adjusted for different working distances and applications.

Its durable black anodized aluminum-alloy housing provides protection for the internal optical components while maintaining a slim, lightweight handheld design. A textured focusing section offers improved grip during adjustment, while the attached wrist strap makes the unit convenient to carry and handle.
