explain:

The volume control (V0L port) on the board uses a potentiometer, but it is not really used to control the volume. Instead, a microcontroller reads the voltage ratio of the middle pin of the potentiometer (as a percentage of VCC to GND voltage), and then writes it into the internal register of the DAC through a soft control to achieve volume control. Therefore, as long as the potentiometer is in good contact, the quality of the potentiometer will not affect the sound quality.
