Decoding Board Introduction

The new version of the AK4493SEQ chip supports a sampling rate of 32bit/768KHz and hardware decoding up to DSD512. It delivers outstanding analytical power, excellent transient response and sound transparency, with well-balanced treble, midrange and bass. In particular, it features a richer analog sound signature, smooth and sweet vocal performance, and offers an extremely high cost-performance ratio.

This board adopts dual AK4493SEQ configuration. Each AK4493SEQ chip is dedicated to one independent channel, adopting a fully balanced standalone circuit design. The two channels operate without mutual interference, presenting crisp, delicate, clean and transparent sound

PCM: 44.1KHz ~ 384KHz, 32BIT

DSD: DSD64, DSD128, DSD256

The AK4493SEQ chip natively supports hardware decoding of DSD512. However, for automatic switching between PCM and DSD formats on this board without additional auxiliary signal circuits, stable and smooth switching performance is optimal at DSD256 and below.
