The 120W 915nm Infrared Laser Igniter combines a Raycus laser source, rechargeable lithium battery pack, aluminum-alloy housing, and removable 50× adjustable beam expander.

The coaxial red aiming light assists alignment, while the rotary focusing mechanism allows manual optical adjustment. Built-in temperature protection automatically stops output when the internal pump source reaches approximately 45°C.

The complete assembly measures approximately 360mm long, with a 60mm main body diameter and 70mm beam expander outside diameter.

The removable 50× beam expander features a rotary adjustment mechanism for manual focusing.

A coaxial red aiming light assists alignment. The red aiming light is separate from the invisible 915nm infrared output and does not indicate whether the main beam is safe.

Optical performance varies with focus, distance, atmospheric conditions, and the characteristics of the material being tested.

The unit uses a rechargeable battery pack containing four 21700 lithium-ion cells, with a nominal capacity of 5000mAh and an integrated protection board.

Temperature Protection and Operating Limits

The temperature protection system automatically stops output when the internal pump source reaches approximately 45°C.

The manufacturer states approximately 30 seconds per activation. During testing at an ambient temperature of 24°C, thermal protection activated after approximately 30–40 seconds.

These figures are operating limits rather than guaranteed runtime. Allow the unit to cool between activations and keep ventilation openings unobstructed. Do not rely on thermal shutdown as the normal stopping method.

This model is intended for intermittent use. Continuous-duty operation is not supported by the supplied specifications.
